Order Information

Please email us at info@hangar9.ca as soon as possible if you would like to make any changes to your order. We do our best to process online orders quickly so you can receive your order as soon as possible. If an order has already shipped, please initiate a return. You can view our returns policy here.

If you have made a mistake with your shipping address, please reach out to info@hangar9.ca. We will do our best to make adjustments to the order. If an order has already been shipped, we may not be able to retrieve the order; however we will do our best to get your order to you.

You can view your order status by logging into your account and viewing your order history. If you don’t have an account, you can view the status of your order by reviewing your order confirmation email and selecting the “View your Order” button.

Absolutely! Let us know you would like your order gift wrapped by selecting “Gift wrap this order” in your shopping cart.

Shipping

Please allow 1 business day for us to process your order prior to shipment in addition to the above shipping timelines.

EXCEPTION: Orders over 10 lbs in weight or to remote regions are not eligible for free shipping. If this affects your purchase, you will be notified within 2 business days of placing your order and will be contacted with a quote for shipment of your order.

This option is currently offered at both stores (2-7 business days), checkout online with the in-store pickup option selected at your preferred location (London or Toronto). We'll be sure to contact you when your order is ready, so please wait to hear from one of our stylists before pick-up.

We ship locally from within Canada, so your order will not be subject to duties. Taxes are charged as noted in your order and you will not be subject to additional taxes on receipt of your package. 

At the moment we are not able to offer international shipping at checkout. If you are interested in an item being shipped internationally, please reach out to us at info@hangar9.ca with the items you are interested in and your shipping address for a quote. 

Returns

We will happily accept returns or exchanges on full price, unworn, unwashed, unaltered merchandise with tags (except Lingerie, care products, hosiery or socks) within 10 days of the delivery/pickup date. These items are eligible for refund or store credit. All jewelry, shoes and accessories must include any dust bag or box originally included.

Sale items are eligible for exchange or store credit only and are not eligible for refund. We will happily accept unworn, unwashed, unaltered merchandise with tags (except Lingerie, care products, hosiery or socks) within 10 days of the delivery date. All jewelry, shoes and accessories must include any dust bag or box originally included. Any items noted as FINAL SALE are not eligible for return or exchange and are considered FINAL SALE on completion of purchase.

Full price items received after 10 days but within 45 days after purchase are not eligible for refund, however will be accepted for exchange or store credit. Any sale items must be returned within the initial 10 days in order to receive store credit.

Because you were able to touch and feel the item, as well as try it on for fit and size with the help of our stylists, we will accept returns and exchanges for store credit on full price, unworn, unwashed, unaltered merchandise with tags (exceptions are Lingerie, Care Products, hosiery or socks) within 10 days of the purchase date. Store credits never expire and can be used at any location. All Sale merchandise is FINAL SALE and not eligible for return or exchange.

Payment

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Amex & Gift Card.

Refunds are processed once items are returned to the store. Please review our return policy to review which items are eligible for refund. Once items have been assessed by our team, you will receive an email notification that your refund has been processed. Please allow 5 - 7 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.

You can enter your discount code at checkout once you begin the checkout process. Please note discount codes can only be applied once per order, and we are unable to process multiple discount codes in the same transaction. Please refer to the terms of your discount code for further details. 

Can’t decide what to get? You can purchase a Hangar9 Digital Gift Card for use online or in-store.

Pre Orders

Pre-ordering an item gives an exclusive opportunity to order the pieces you love the most from a designer’s upcoming collection.

Check out our upcoming events for pre-order opportunities. Each season we offer a variety of events for our clients to have a preview of some of our designer collections. Sign up to our mailing list to be the first to know about upcoming events and pre-order opportunities. 

Ship dates vary by designer and item, please be sure to review the shipping timeline offered for each item. Preorders and trunk show orders are subject to delivery timelines outside our standard order timelines.

We are happy to offer a store credit for your item within 10 days of delivery date, on unworn, unwashed, unaltered merchandise with tags within 10 days of delivery/pick-up. Returns past this timeline are final sales and are not eligible for store credit. Store credits never expire and can be used at any location or online. Pre-orders are not eligible for refund.

Trunk Shows

Ordering items through designer Trunk Shows gives you an exclusive opportunity to preview a designer’s entire collection for the upcoming season, and select the items you love most for order. 

We offer various Trunk Shows in both stores each season. To order items through Trunk Show a 50% deposit on the order is required. Check out our Events page & Sign up to our mailing list to stay in the know on all upcoming trunk shows.

We want you to love the merchandise selected for trunk show; if you change your mind on an item, we are happy to offer a store credit on your trunk show deposit, and you are not responsible for the remaining balance of the order. Store credits never expire and can be used at any location. 

Any items returned after pick-up from trunk show are subject to our in-store return policy. We are happy to offer a store credit on unworn, unwashed, unaltered merchandise with tags within 10 days of the pick-up. Store credits never expire and can be used at any location. Trunk Show orders are not eligible for refund.

In-Store Experience & Personal Styling

While we encourage our clients to book styling sessions to provide you with one-on-one attention from one of our stylists, we are always happy to see you in-store and will gladly assist walk-in clients.

You can use our booking portal to select the service, location, stylist and time of your choice.

Our personal styling services are complementary and are offered both in-store and virtually. Our [H9] + 9 = 36 styling formula is a curated approach to wardrobe planning, to build you a wardrobe with 9 essential pieces to create 36 outfits. We also offer additional styling services including closet editing, travel/event packing and trunk shows, book an appointment or learn more.

We understand that sometimes your closet needs some additional care. A closet edit is the final mile in your wardrobe planning, our stylists will visit you in-home or virtually to review and organize the items already available in your closet, as well as provide recommendations to elevate your style based on your existing wardrobe. Hangar9’s service offerings range from personal shopping, closet editing, travel planning, as well exclusive opportunities for seasonal trunk shows, book an appointment or learn more.

While we do not offer alterations in-store, we are happy to assist in pinning/hemming and arrange alteration services for you. 

Product Care & Sizing

While sizing varies between brands, we offer sizing from 00 up to size 20 in select styles, with some brands offering petite sizing. If you would like guidance for sizing, please refer to our size guide or book a consultation with a stylist who can assist you with the best fit for you.

We carry a limited run of sizing in each style. We recommend signing up to our mailing list to be the first to know when new products arrive in our boutiques and participating in seasonal trunk shows.

Use our size guide as a reference for sizing between designers. Still unsure about the fit? Our stylists are always happy to provide fit & sizing suggestions, you can give us a call in-store or book a consultation with a stylist for more assistance.

Hangar9 was originally founded in partnership by Jo-Ann Fisher as Fisher & Co. in 1983, and rebranded to Hangar9 in 2014, today it remains as a family owned and women run business.
